So, it's 9:30 PM and I'm sitting in the free Internet lounge in the Tapei, Taiwan airport waiting for my connecting flight to Bangkok (Thailand for 2 weeks!!!). I'm telling you, I'm not one to judge a book by its cover, but I can't help but feel that some of the fellas sharing the space here with me are not just going to Thailand to enjoy the sunny beaches like I am. Wow, especially the guy sitting directly to my left. There's no way that I can be discrete enough to take a photo to post, but I'll just say it looks to me like this chap either escaped prison/skipped bail, got in touch with some dude he once did federal time with who specializes in fake ID's and got on the first plane to Southeast Asia or he is the prime suspect for an unmentionable crime in Florida, decided to jet, contacted aforementioned dude and hopped on aforementioned flight. Either way, I might have to keep my eyes on him as far as I can go. I might have to notify local authorities.
Maybe I'll try to strike up a conversation with him -- ask him, "Going to Thailand? Business or pleasure?" If there is a certain shiftiness in the way he doesn't answer "business," well...
I'm just saying "To Catch A Predator" ought to go International.
